We often look for happiness and satisfaction outside ourselves. We may even logically know that real contentment is within. Ask yourself how much time, energy, and resources do you put toward having the life you want each day and every day.

Most of us find it difficult to really focus on ourselves. We tell ourselves, “I’ll get to reflecting on my life and being happy when…this trouble passes, when others’ needs have been resolved.” We can go from saying, “When my kid sleeps through the night” to “When she graduates high school.” We can say, “After this degree or after this promotion.” But tomorrow doesn’t come.

Really understanding yourself with compassion and honesty needs supportive direction. Changes in behavior are best done as a team effort. I want to be on your team.
